Welcome
Hello and welcome to my professional blog. I am 23 and finishing my bachelor’s in journalism at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I am a writer by default, but I understand the increasing importance of incorporating multimedia into journalism and work to expand my skills in video and photography. I am interested in social issues and spent two weeks in India in July 2011 reporting on such issues. I am increasingly interested in the international community and write stories about refugees in Lincoln for my journalism class. I hope to use my writing and visual skills to work for a non-profit after I graduate.
